Wow, what an industrious day! I got precisely…. nothing… done.
Actually, no – it really wasn’t as bad as all that. I did go for a 3-mile walk and I did my Japanese lesson. I made lunch and dinner and worked on House Hunt. And I hope someone kicks me up the backside so I get some more of that done tonight.
On top of that, Mia from IndieSage PR was doing a lot of the heavy lifting to spread the word about Job Hunt. Since I’m a novice and all, and like nothing better than watching the professionals work….
There’s a giveaway, which you can enter here, and there’ll be a blog tour once the book comes out on May 13th. (Another day where I’ll be doing very little in the way of paid work, I imagine!)
Apart from that… I was hanging out at Dreamspinner’s website drooling over the book. Now that it’s up for pre-order, the book I thought I’d never have the guts to write (or submit) is starting to feel very, very real. So now, before the whole crazy train gets rolling and I get swept up in it all, let’s take a bit of time for a glass of wine and a little happy dance. Because doing something I thought I couldn’t ever do, telling a story I thought I was too scared to ever tell…sure makes me feel good!
And if you like to meet Jack ahead of the release date, keep an eye on the site. I’ll be posting excerpts and snippets and sides… just because Jack deserves it!
