It’s that time of year again… when you get a bite-sized surprise every day, and on some days even two of them! Yes, it’s time for the Rainbow Advent Calendar, and my guest today is Chief Elf and Cat Herder Alex Jane, who organises the fun. And with that said, I’ll let her tell you what’s happening this year!

Happy Friday! And a Happy Black Friday at that.
With Thanksgiving done and dusted, the festive season can now begin in earnest! And by ‘begin’ I obviously mean do all your gift shopping online in the course of the next few hours.
And the best bit about December being just around the corner? All the Festive stories to be read! Yup, while we gorge ourselves on plum pudding and brandy butter, we can gorge our brains on endless stories featuring jingle bells and scantily clad elves. You just know Santa will check that naughty list twice.
It can be a bit overwhelming when the world and his wife have a new release all in the same few weeks, but don’t despair. If you don’t know who to choose, especially when confronted with a new-to-you author, you could do worse than pop by the Rainbow Advent Calendar during Dec and grab yourself a little something from more than 35 authors who have all written an exclusive free story just for you.
Every day, there’ll be a post – or two, if you’re especially good – linking to a free story. Might be a super short story, maybe a novel, but definitely festive and full of romance. It’s our third year and the Facebook group is always such fun. Alternately, you can find the Masterlist of participants on my website.
As for my contribution to the Festive Feast, I wrote a standalone last year – Tinsel Fixes Everything, now in Kindle Unlimited – which somehow ended up gaining a sequel!
Glitter Fixes Everything follows Justin and Roman as they reconnect after four years and a misunderstanding that tore them apart. Will they find their way back to the love they lost with the help of Justin’s family and the spirit of Christmas? Well. It wouldn’t be Christmas without a happy ending, now would it?
Glitter Fixes Everything will be in Amazon Exclusive on Kindle Unlimited on the 7th Dec.

What could be better than a Christmas miracle?
Coming home from college to surprise his family for the holidays is one of Justin Meadows’ better ideas. Or so he thinks, until he steps through the door and gets a shock. Roman James is not someone he expected to see, but he’s still as beautiful and sweet and smoking hot as he was four years ago. It’s just a shame he’s the ex-boyfriend who ruined other men for Justin.
With Roman estranged from his family, and with nowhere else for him to go as Christmas draws closer, Justin has to pull on his big boy pants and endure the heartache of being around the guy he still dreams about. Worse still, as they spend more time together, it becomes clear the simmering attraction they used to share hasn’t gone away.
But as they finally talk—and Justin listens—little things start to add up, and soon they’re both questioning why they broke up in the first place. When the final piece of the puzzle illuminates what really happened between them years before, could the truth be enough to light the way to a glittering future?
What could be better than a Christmas miracle?
How about a second chance at love.
About Alex Jane
After spending far too long creating stories in her head, Alex finally plucked up the courage to write them down and realized it was quite fun seeing them on the page after all.
Free from aspirations of literary greatness, Alex simply hopes to entertain by spinning a good yarn of love and life, wrapped up with a happy ending. Although, if her characters have to go through Hell to get there, she’s a-okay with that.
With only a dysfunctional taste in music and a one-eyed dog to otherwise fill her days, Alex writes and walks on the South Coast of England—even when her heart and spellcheck are in New York.
