It’s the season to be jolly and all… it’s no surprise that my guests over the next few weeks are bringing their holiday stories along. Today, my guest is Asta Idonea, who has two sweet holiday romances for our enjoyment. I may be a bit of a bah-humbug when it comes to a lot of Christmas, but I do have a thing for blue and silver, so I’m loving these covers – just saying. 😉 And a touch of sweet romance is very welcome during the hectic time that’s December. So let’s listen to Asta Idonea and find out what she has in store for us this season…
Thanks, Jackie, for inviting me to your blog today. It’s that time of year when we are all feeling in the festive spirit, so I am here to share my two seasonal MM shorts. I’ve penned holiday-inspired stories for a few years now. In 2015 and 2016 I had tales in DSP’s Advent Calendars, and this year I am publishing with NineStar Press—one Xmas-related tale and one New Year’s Eve romance. The festive season, with all its parties and special events, offers so many wonderful opportunities for writers. My season shorts tend to be sweet romances. There’s no reason for that; it’s just the way it usually works out! 🙂 I guess I like the idea of people discovering new loves at the turning of the year. So, I hope you’ll join my two pairs of would-be lovers as they pursue their romantic revels.
Of Printers and Presents
A Secret Santa drawing offers more than a simple gift exchange for two office workers.
Colleagues Ford and Vaughan have long admired each other from afar, but Vaughan’s shyness and Ford’s emotional hang-ups have meant that neither has made a move. That all changes when they draw each other’s name in the office Secret Santa.
Will there be fireworks when two former acquaintances reconnect on New Year’s Eve
Damon is getting over a bad breakup. Ioan is painfully shy. Neither expects to enjoy the New Year’s Eve party to which their mutual friend, Katie, has dragged them. However, their unexpected reunion may make them change their minds by the time midnight strikes.
